The Atlanta Federation of Musicians, in conjunction with Music Performance Funds, has developed a scholarship program to encourage and support future professional instrumentalists. Scholarships are awarded to contestants with high academic achievement and based on the quality of the audition.
AUDITIONS: Auditions are open to any instrumentalist in Georgia who is a graduating high school senior planning to pursue a career in music, and who has been accepted to a college or university music program. Application materials must be received by May 9, 2008. Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2008; specific audition times to be assigned.
